- Accumulator
- A single bet that combines multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Arbitrage
- Exploiting differences in odds across bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A type of bet that gives a virtual advantage or disadvantage to a team to level the playing field.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet on whether both teams will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle your bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or loss.
- Cashback
- A promotion that returns a portion of your losses as a bonus, usually subject to conditions.
- Decimal Odds
- A way of expressing odds as a single number that includes your stake; for example, 2.50 means a $10 bet returns $25.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes of a match, increasing your chances of winning.
- Dutching
- Spreading your stake across multiple outcomes to ensure a profit no matter which one wins.
- Edge
- An advantage you have over the bookmaker, often from superior knowledge or data.
- Hedge
- Placing a bet on the opposite outcome to reduce risk or lock in a profit.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing a bet after a match has started, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Juice
- The commission a bookmaker takes included in the odds, which reduces potential payouts.
- Kelly Criterion
- A formula used to determine the optimal size of a bet based on your edge and odds.
- Line Shopping
- Comparing odds from different bookmakers to find the best value for your bet.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be higher or lower than a set number.
- Provably Fair
- A system that uses encryption to prove that a game's outcome is random and not manipulated.
- Responsible Gambling

- RTP
- Return to Player; the percentage of total money wagered that a game pays back to players over time.
- Stake
